Welcome to nextcv ("we", "our", "us").
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website nextcv.co, our waitlist, and our web application ("the Service").
By using NextCV, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Who We Are

NextCV is operated by Hireups, a recruitment company.
We built NextCV to help individuals, companies, and organizations easily create, format, and manage professional CVs.

2. Use of the Service

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use NextCV.
  • You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for the content and information you upload (CV data, text, images).
  • You must not misuse the Service (e.g., attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our systems).

3. Account Registration

  • To use certain features (like saving or editing CVs), you must create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

  • Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
  • Prices are listed in USD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
  • You may cancel anytime from your account settings. Access will continue until the end of the paid period.
  • We do not store or process credit card details — Stripe handles all sensitive payment data.

5. Refund Policy

Because digital access is provided instantly, all payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
However, if you experience technical issues, contact contact@hireups.co and we'll do our best to help or provide credit where appropriate.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, branding, templates, logos, and design assets on NextCV are the property of Hireups / NextCV and protected by copyright.
  • You may not copy, resell, or distribute any part of the platform or templates without written permission.
  • The CVs and content you create using NextCV remain your property. You can download, export, or delete them at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading information.
  • Use the Service to impersonate others.
  • Attempt to access other users' data or our private systems.
  • Share your login credentials with others outside your organization (except under a valid team plan).

We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to users violating these rules.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99% uptime, but sometimes maintenance or updates may cause short downtime.
We're not responsible for losses or delays caused by outages, third-party tools, or events beyond our control (e.g., server failure, natural disaster, cyberattack).

9. Data & Privacy

Your privacy matters to us.
Our data collection, storage, and usage practices are explained in our Privacy Policy.
By using NextCV, you agree to our data handling as described there.

10. Third-Party Services

NextCV uses third-party tools (e.g., Stripe, Vercel, Google Analytics).
We're not responsible for their actions or policies but choose GDPR-compliant partners with secure processing standards.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • NextCV is provided "as is" and "as available."
  • We make no guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all your expectations.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities).
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • You breach these Terms,
  • You misuse the Service, or
  • We are required to do so by law.

You may also delete your account anytime. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems (except where legally required to retain it).

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
When we do, we'll post the new version here with the updated date at the top.
Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the European Union, specifically applicable within North Macedonia.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of North Macedonia, unless local law requires otherwise.
